Unidentified Burial Stake 10

These photos show 10 burial stakes which mark 10 graves. In one photo a stake is in the shadows of the tree. Photo was taken June 2009. Iron rods, or burial stakes as they are sometimes known in old cemeteries, are usually used for marking graves which have never had an actual tombstone. I've found two different surveys for the Gordon Cemetery. Both have some of the same individuals on them but both are not exactly the same.....and, to have names and dates for these individuals, as they do on the lists, they must have seen that info on a stone. Considering this, it is possible that these 10 burial stakes are for 10 individuals who are not named on any list.
