Lola Mae LaRoche
August 12, 1940 - April 15, 2017
Lola Mae LaRoche, age 76, of Lawton passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Lola was born on August 12, 1940 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Floyd and Tressie (Hobbs) Keiningham. On December 1, 1955, she married the love of her life, W.T. LaRoche. They would spend the next forty wonderful years together before his death in 1995. Lola worked at Finley Real Estate as a real estate agent before going to work for Sherwin-Williams as an interior decorator. She worked for Goodyear for fourteen years before retiring in 1996, she then went to work at Wingfoot Goodyear Store and worked there until 2014 when she retired permanently. Lola was a Jehovah's Witness. In her free time, Lola enjoyed camping at the lake but she loved nothing more than taking care of her family, especially her great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, W.T. LaRoche; her parents, Floyd and Tressie Keiningham; and two siblings, Pansy Prowell and Bobby Keiningham, Lola is survived by one daughter, Pamela LaRoche of Lawton; one son, Lendall LaRoche of Lawton; two grandsons, Justin LaRoche and Cody LaRoche of Lawton; three great grandchildren, Sterling LaRoche of Saginaw, Texas, Kenzie LaRoche of Lawton and Jessie LaRoche of Lawton; three siblings, Peggy Terrell of Fort Worth, Jimmy Keiningham and wife Juanita of Lawton and Roy Keiningham of Cache; one foster brother, Jackie Harrison of Lawton along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.
