Funeral services for Bessie Beatrice Reid Patmon, 81, of Crescent, Okla., will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Pastor L.R. Drinkwater will officiate. Burial will be in Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home of Crescent.
Bessie Beatrice Reid Patmon was born Jan. 24, 1918 in Meridian, Okla. to Yancy Henry and Carrie Bonnie Mae Allen Reid. She died Dec. 7, 1999 in Edmond, Okla. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bose C. Patmon, a son, Louis C. Patmon and a daughter, Dorothy Mae.
She is survived by 15 children, Willie Patmon and Fredrick Patmon, of Detroit, Olether L. Toliver, Ruth L.M. Anderson and Bose Patmon Jr., all of Crescent, Harry Patmon, Marjorie Patmon, Althina Swan, Beatrice Cole, Sanford Patmon, all of Oklahoma City, Rozen Kenner, Waukomis, Okla., Adeloide Patmon, Norman, Okla. Helen L. Patmon, Everett, Mass., Constance Carson, Ft. Worth, Celia Patmon, Carrollton, Texas; one brother, Henry Yancy Reid, Enid, 34 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
