Dale L. Doolittle was born on July 28, 1930, to Francis E. and Mabel C. (Nichols) Doolittle, in Clovis, NM. He went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2006, at the age of 76.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ruby Williamson, two brothers, Melvin and Glenn, son Gary Lynn Doolittle and granddaugher, Christa Deanne Doolittle.
He leaves a lasting heritage of faith and hope to his surviving family; six children; Irma Sallee of Guthrie, Mancil Doolittle of Greenbank, WV, Dan Doolittle of Guthrie, Larry Doolittle of Pierce City, MO, Ron Doolittle of Guthrie; and Sandy Anderson also of Guthrie, 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Huskey of Seattle WA and Nelda Sorrell of Guthrie.
The family welcomes relatives and friends to the visitation at Baggerly Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway, Edmond, OK from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday August 8, 2006. Funeral services will be held at The Church of God Chapel, Lakeview Rd., in Guthrie, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, OK.
