Submitted by: Terry Dudley

August 11, 1946 ~ January 1, 2023

Sharon Ann Ellison departed this world on Sunday, January 1, 2023. She was born to the late Joseph M. and L. Irene Liput in Sacramento, CA on August 11, 1946. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Ray Franklin Ellison. She and Ray were married in Vacaville, CA in 1972. She spent most of her life in California before moving to Prague, OK in 1978. In 2013, she and Ray moved to Edmond, OK.

Sharon was incredibly generous and found purpose and happiness in serving others. She always found ways to help individuals and stayed active in organizations throughout her life, including First Baptist Church of Prague, Life.Church, Oklahoma Christian Academy, Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, Project 66, Lilyfield, and many others. She also loved traveling, trying new restaurants, and going to shows.

Sharon spoiled her family with her love and her time and never missed an opportunity to support them. In recent years, she spent countless hours fully engaged in activities with her grandsons. She made life better for those fortunate enough to know her. She loved God and demonstrated a selfless servant's heart. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Travis Conklin of Edmond, grandsons (her pride and joy), Dathan and Braeden Conklin, and numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Project 66 (project66.org) or Lilyfield (lilyfield.org).

Family and friends are welcome to attend a church service in her honor at 1:30 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Life.Church (Broadway and Britton location at 9001 N. Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City).

A graveside service will also be held at 4:30 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the cemetery in Prague.
