Mary Jane Bigham

December 15, 1933 ~ May 2, 2020

Mary Jane Bigham of Edmond, passed away on May 2, 2020 at the age of 86. She was born on December 15, 1933 in Sparks, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Zack and Alice (Riggs) Fennel. Mary was one of eleven children.

Mary attended Prague Schools and graduated with the Prague High School Class of 1952. Following high school, Mary met the love of her life, Billy Jack Bigham and the two were wed on July 6, 1957 in Oklahoma City. The two were happily married for over 62 years. The two traveled the world together as he served his country with the United States Navy and she proudly supported him. The two lived in Santiago, Chile, Washington DC and Lisbon, Portugal, before returning to enjoy retirement in Edmond.

Mary was a social butterfly. She loved to throw and to attend parties. She loved to sew and craft and was always down for a game of dominoes. Mary was a 65-year member of the Beta Sigma Phi Laureate Upsilon Chapter.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Billy Jack Bigham; one son, Craig Bigham and his wife Julie of Houston, Texas; one daughter, Pamela Elaine Fulk and her husband Marty of Oklahoma City; one grandson, Cole Bigham of Houston, Texas; one sister, Doris Smith of Prague and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family would like to offer a very special thank you to Mary and Bill’s wonderful neighbors for always looking after and being there for them.
