Frances Fern Turner Andrew

Frances Fern (Turner) Andrew, of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the age of 89. Frances was born on September 10, 1933 in Seminole, Oklahoma. As a child, she and her family, made their home in Saticoy, California. They moved back to Prague a few years later, where she lived the remainder of her life.

Frances married James Ralph Andrew on February 11, 1950 at Little Baptist Church. The couple made their home in Prague, where they raised four children. Both Frances and James were very active in the Deer Creek Baptist Church. Frances enjoyed teaching Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and serving on various committees.

In her spare time, Frances enjoyed traveling, gardening, flowers and sitting on her back porch, and walking her dog. Her greatest joy was her family. She especially loved to spoil her grandchildren.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of more than 64 years, James Andrew; her son, David Andrew, her daughter-in-law, Kerri Andrew; brother and sister-in-law, Gilland Turner and Betty Turner Howard and one sister, Wyema Vargas.

She is survived by three children, James Michael "Mike" Andrew and his wife, Sindy, of Bixby; Sharon Andrew Stephens of Prague, and Anita Bertram and her husband, Mike, of Shawnee; one brother, Tom Turner and his wife, Mary Ellen of Prague; twenty grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
