Patrick Charles Anderson

Patrick Charles Anderson of Prague, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the age of 82. He passed away gently at home, surrounded by his loved ones. Pat was born, April 15, 1940 to Patrick Issac Anderson and Freda Bell Cook in Lawton, Oklahoma. He attended Lawton, Chickasha and St. Gregory's Boys High School in Shawnee. He then attended college at Oklahoma State University and then served his country in the United States Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He served in the reserves for four years.

Pat worked as a Chief Inspector at Oklahoma Natural Gas for over 30 years and then OneOK, in Shawnee, for five years, where he retired in 2000. Pat moved his family to Prague in 1968 to have a farm. Pat married Linda McCammon on October 29, 2002 and they made their home in Prague.

Pat loved to farm and raise cows. He enjoyed family get togethers, friends, fishing and driving around and seeing the country.

Pat was a member of the Lincoln County Republican Party and the catholic church. He was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 485 for many years. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Issac Anderson; his mother, Freda Bell Anderson, one sister, Aeileen Conway and one great grandbaby.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Anderson, of the home; three sons and two daughter-in-laws, Patrick I. Anderson of Prague, Jack and Michelle Anderson of Little Rock, Arkansas and Rockie and Burnedette of Tulsa; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Bell and Ray Cooper of Prague and one sister, Judy Wilson of Shawnee. He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren, Shelby and Kevin Wilkins, Teresa and J.L. Jones, Larry and Hannah Cooper, Tricia and Austin Blandamer, Ashley Anderson, Grace Anderson, Justin Anderson, Henry Anderson, Owen Anderson, Mackenzie Anderson, Bud Cooper and Claire Anderson; two great-grandaughters, Remi Grace Cooper and Bethany Ann Blandamer; Linda Anderson's daughters, Lisa Cassens and Dana Gilliam and host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 9:00 AM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Parks Brothers Funeral Services Chapel, Prague, Oklahoma, with M. Dale Griffin officiating. Condolences can be expressed at www.parksbrothers.net. Service are in the care of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague, Oklahoma.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Patrick's honor to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
