Richard Allen Wolfe passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, August 7, 2020.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2020 at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Perkins, OK. Interment will follow at Parkland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Richard was born on December 30, 1947 to Raymond and Stella (Majors) Wolfe in the Sapulpa, OK Hospital. He was the 12th of 14 children. He grew up in Sapulpa and graduated from high school in 1966. After high school, Richard had many jobs, but later became a carpet installer. He installed carpets in houses and business all around the Cushing and Stillwater areas.

Richard met the love of his life Diane Reedy on February 9, 1990 and knew she was the one he wanted to spend his life with. On their second date he said, “Do you want to go get a Coke or go get married or something?” They were united in marriage on June 30, 1990 the Church of the Firstborn in Agra.

Richard was a fun-loving man, who was always the life of the party. He could always put a smile on your face and was always quick with a joke. He spent his free time in the great outdoors with friend’s horseback riding, playing horseshoes and cornhole, or eating, especially the desserts. He was a faithful member of the Church of the Firstborn in Perkins and enjoyed gospel music.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Stella Wolfe; four sisters, Lawanda, Helen, Fern, and Lois; seven brothers, Deairl, Howard, Luther, Wayne, Marvin, Melvin, and Clifford. Richard is also preceded in death by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Richard is survived by his wife, Diane Wolfe; one son, Ricky Wolfe and wife, Laura; two siblings, James Wolfe, Dorothy Feeback and husband, Ronnie. Richard is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
