GARY LESLIE YOUNG
1935 - 2013


Gary Leslie Young, Cushing resident, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2013 in Cushing at the age of 78 years.
The son of the late Leonard W. Young and Mahallie D. Channel Young, Gary was born on January 7, 1935 in Grants Pass, Oregon.
Gary was united in marriage to Martha Sue Jackson on May 17, 1953 and to this union four children were born.
He was a member of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.
In his free time, he enjoyed hunting.
Survivors include is wife, Martha Sue Young; three children, Cindee Ann Meidinger, Eric Shane Young and Heidi Sue Young, all of Agra; grandchildren, Lacie Lemmon, Garet Murch, Dakota Murch, Lana O’Brien, Kaleb Murch, Eric Meidinger, Maggie Meidinger, Erika Young, Joseph Young, Hanna Young, Sarah Young, Benjamin Young, Rachel Young and Annie Young; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Glenetta Burgett and one brother, Rick Young, both of Washington State; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Tonya Faye Murch.
Graveside services will be Monday, June 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Parkland Cemetery.
