SHARON LYNETTE VANDENBURG
1940 - 2010


Sharon Lynette Sumner Vandenburg was born on November 17, 1940, in Los Angeles, California, and departed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2010, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years.
Sharon, the daughter of Roy Albert and Esther Mason Sumner, was a resident of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
She worked as a Medical Administrative Assistant for many years and was a member of Bethel Church in Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Her parents, two husbands and a daughter-in-law preceded Sharon in death.
Survivors include sons, Phillip Vandenburg of Oklahoma City and Ricky Vandenburg of Upland, California; daughters, Brenda McCracken of Chandler, Oklahoma, Lori Waggner of Washington, Utah and Sherry Deicks of Riverside, California; brother, Larrell Sumner of Apple Valley, California; sister, Lola Scroggins of Upland, California; special friends, Gerald Hand and family of Newalla, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at White Dove Cemetery in Sparks, Oklahoma with Pastor Frank Wiley officiating.
Services under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
