CHARLEY JAMES MILLER
1923 - 2014


Charley James Miller, 91, passed away Tuesday, September 23 in Tulsa.
Charley was born on February 1, 1923 in Cement, Oklahoma to James Columbus Miller and Lucy Pauline Miller.
He married Peggy Lou Miller.
He attended school in Bentley and later quit to work in the fields. He later became a truck driver.
Charley was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucy Miller; Nell Parker, Jeff Miller, Walter Miller, Owen Miller and Bill Miller.
He is survived by his children, Ronnie Miller of Stillwater, Jerry and Betty Miller of Tulsa, Troy and Nickie Miller of Stillwater, Wesley Miller of Stillwater, Elizabeth and Gene Matheson of Stillwater; siblings, Hazel Treadway, Claira May Brooks, Pauline Peterson and Tom and Cliff Miller; grandchildren, Patricia Ann Gordon of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Boady James Hatley of Tulsa, Joshua Gordon of Stroud, Joseph Miller of Tulsa and Jesse Miller of Dallas; and numerous other family members and friends.
His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2014 at Flynn Memorial Cemetery, Cushing, Oklahoma.
Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
