Dewayne Nutt

Dewayne Nutt was born August 8, 1945 in Oklahoma City to Judd and Edith (Teeter) Nutt. He passed away October 18, 2022 at his home in Carney at the age of 77.

Dewayne enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a talented carpenter. He was a very well-liked Christian man devoted to his family and was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Dewayne and Frances were longtime members of the Carney Assembly of God Church. He also served 3 years in the churches prison ministry.

Dewayne is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Jaime (Nutt) Biswell; survivors include his wife of 47 years, Frances (McKinley) Nutt of the home; son, Dusty Nutt of Carney; (5) grandchildren, Lance Biswell, Logan Biswell, Dalilah Nutt, Mackenzie Nutt, Tyler Nutt; along with other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Assembly of God Church in Carney and interment will follow in the Carney Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
