Raynor, Teresa, 91, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2012 in Oklahoma City.  Teresa was born April 7, 1921 in Lodi, Oklahoma to Andrew and Margaret Free.

When Teresa was nineteen she followed her finance Haskell (who was in the Army) to Oregon where they married.  Later, they moved to Norman and obtained their degrees from the University of Oklahoma.  Both Teresa and Haskell worked and taught at Wilburton State College.  They traveled and taught throughout the United States then joining Civil Service where they traveled and worked in Seoul Korea and Germany as education counselors to the soldiers.

Teresa was very proud to be the valedictorian of her senior class at  Red Oak High School.  She enjoyed working out with her personal trainer three times a week.  Teresa was an avid reader and loved politics.  One of her favorite memories was dancing at her granddaughter Tami's wedding.  Teresa’s day was always brightened by the visits of her grandson's J.C., Carey and her best friend  Paula Roden and her daily visits. Teresa will be greatly missed for her gentle nature, unconditional love, witty sense of humor and great style.

Teresa is survived by her daughter Sondra Jean Velez of Norman; brother Guy Free of Red Oak; grandchildren, Tami Thompson, JC Velez, Carey Velez; Great-grandchildren, Ashli, Destyn, Cody and Greyson.
