A graveside
service for Cora Glenn,
100,
will be 1 PM Wednesday in Forrest Home Cemetery at Loyal. The Rev. David Conrad
will officiate. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born March 31, 1904, in Keil, Oklahoma Territory, now Loyal to Alvin and
Effie Mapet Maxwell. She married Theodore Glenn on November 14, 1924. She was a
cook for loyal school cafeteria. In 1957, she moved to Enid and worked as a
caregiver for children and the elderly. She was a member of New Hope United
Methodist Church and Golden Agers.
Surviving are one daughter, Leota Derrick of Enid; two sons, Alvin of Oklahoma
City and Lester of Hooker; nine grandchildren; 25 great – grandchildren; and 11
great – great – grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on August 1, 1936.
