Shirley Baker died April 18, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 20 days. She was born July 29, 1940 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Martin and Bert (Butcher) Johnson.

On August 29, 1956 she married Wesley Baker.

Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed watching her Soap Operas, talking on the phone and loved flowers. She also loved her country band and dancing at the VFW in Guthrie. Shirley loved her family, especially her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family.

Survivors include her husband, Wes of the home; three sons, Marty Baker of Cashion, James Baker of the home and Doyle Baker of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Gayla Hill of Oklahoma City and Sherry Murray and husband Ronnie of Kingfisher; nine grandchildren, Brandi Krittenbrink and husband Brian, Justin Baker and wife Reice, Holly Hawkins and husband Chris, Ronna Farrow and husband Donald, Crystal Farrow and husband Darryl, Kelly Farrar and husband Wade, John Murray and Shannon Murray; eleven great grandchildren, Wyatt and Grace Krittenbrink, Drew and Ryan Baker, Erika, Jonathon, Macayla and James Farrow, Kelsey, Kyle and Ryan Farrow; three sisters, Frances Rollins, Mary Russell and Patricia Taylor; one brother, Edward Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one special granddaughter, Valerie Hill; two special sister-in-laws, Ollie Johnson and Jannie Baker Thompason.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 23, 2007 at the Cashion Christian Church with Pastor Doug Hinkle officiating, burial will follow in the Cashion Cemetery. Under the direction of Abernathy – Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent.
