Freida Louise Rollins passed away on June 24, 2019 at her home in San Antonio, TX. She was born on May 14, 1938 to Howard and Alta Snider in Duenweg, MO. Freida spent her childhood growing up in southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas, where she attended high school in Longton, KS. On April 25, 1958, Freida married Alvin Rollins in Elk City, KS and they remained married for 61 years until the day of her passing. After she was married, Freida and Alvin bought a home in Apperson, OK and she lived in that home for over 50 years until she moved to San Antonio, TX in 2018 to live with her son and family. Freida worked for the Shidler Public School System in Shidler, OK for over 20 years in the school cafeteria. She always enjoyed seeing the students at the school every day and was even known to throw hot rolls at some of them. She also worked for many years cleaning numerous area houses and area churches where she made a lot of friends.

Freida will always be remembered for her big smile and kind heart. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and friend. She loved her family and friends and she loved Jesus and one of her favorite things was going to church and praising the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her.

Freida is survived by her husband Alvin; son Randy, daughter-in-law Kanchana, granddaughter Lily, and grandson Logan of San Antonio, TX; grandson Brayden of Sumner, OK; brother and sister-in-law Lonnie and Doris Rollins of Junction City, KS, and sister-in-law Janet of Cortez, CO.?

Freida was preceded in death by her father Howard, mother Alta, brothers Joe and Herman, daughters Dana, Diane, and Tina, and son Alvin. ?

A graveside service will be held for Freida on Friday, July 6, 2019 at Grandview Cemetery in Kaw City, OK beginning at 2:00 pm. ?

Services are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel, Ponca City.
