ADA-Services for William Ralph ‘Tuffy’ Duncan, 84, are 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Joe Dixon will officiate. Burial will follow at Connerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Duncan died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at a local hospital. He was born July 9, 1931, to Dan and Lucinda Cassell Duncan at Connerville. He attended Connerville High School. He was the owner/operator of the Shamrock station in Ada, was employed at Wickham Packing Plant and as custodian at Latta High School.

He and Lawanda June Henderson were married Dec. 9, 1963. She died Feb. 5, 2002.

Survivors include a son, Ralph Duncan and wife Shawna of Ringling; a daughter, Diana Tedrick of Tarrs, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Gwen Tedrick, Billy Tedrick and Jared Duncan; a sister, Justine Lewis, of Fittstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, James ‘Link’ Duncan, Loyd ‘Rip’ Duncan and Ervin Duncan; three sisters, Farris Duncan, Claris Duncan and Leota Coker; and a grandson, Justin Duncan.
