Funeral service for Rose White, 83, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 20, 2007 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Rose White was born May 27, 1923 in The Dalles, Oregon the daughter of Orin and Francis (Wolff) Moore and died January 17, 2007 in Chickasha.

Rose graduated from Nursing School in Seattle, Washington. She was a licensed vocational nurse and was recognized by Who's Who of American Nursing. She was head nurse for 25 years in OB-GYN at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Rose was a member of the Southern Oaks Church of Christ, Altrusa, Eastern Star and was AARP Grady County Treasurer.

She and Lawrence Clifford White were married in Oregon in 1946. He preceded her in death May 11, 1990.

Survivors include: Sister: Violet Guy and husband Jim of California, Maryland; Various nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in the Fairmont Cemetery, Hollis, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
