Mrs. Nora Matilda (Martin) Burrow

Mrs Nora Matilda Burrow, 87, resident of Granite since 1913, died Wednesday, April 3, in the Mangum City Hospital following an extended serious illness.

Services will be held Friday at 2:30 p. m. at the assembly of God Church in granite with the Rev. Vernon Shay officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jerry Sullaway.

Burial will be in the Rock Cemetery of Granite under the direction of Lovett Funeral Service.

Mrs. Burrow was born in Alford, Tex., June 6, 1886, the daughter of Elzabeth and Newton Martin both born in Tenn.

She was married to Leon B. Burrow in Wise County, Tex., August 25, 1907. They moved to Granite 61 years ago, farming in the Lake Creek Community. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include: three daughters; a sister, Pauline, a brother, Oscar, 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grand children; and 19 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a sister Hattie from Mangum.
