Naomi Jean Sykes

Naomi Jean Sykes, 74, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2005, in Chickasha. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 27, at the Callaway- Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, with Cliff Werhan officiating. Burial was held in the Westview Cemetery.

Born May 6, 1931, to Otto and Margaret [Allen] Macy, in Alva, she was a member of the Methodist Women of California, and enjoyed traveling, sewing, crossword puzzles, books, old movies, working with flowers, the ocean and her grandkids

She was preceded in death by a son, John Sykes; and her parents.

Survivors include, a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Ronald Parrish of Rush Springs; a son, Steven Macy of Wichita Falls, Texas; four grandchildren, Lee Parish, Scott Myers, Craig and Steven Sykes; two great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
