Nellie Ruth [Barnes] Jacobson

Nellie Ruth Jacobson was born Sunday, Mar. 16, 1924, in Maryland, to John and Ruth Barnes, and passed from this life Sunday, May 25, 2008, in Rush Springs, Okla. She was 84.

Nellie attended school in Maryland. She has lived in Rush Springs for ten years. She previously lived in Wood Bridge, Calif.

She was a member of the Women's Auxilary. Nellie enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. She loved kids.

Her survivors include a daughter, Cynthie Bacon of Rush Springs; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Milton Barnes of Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Allan Jacobson; and a daughter, Nancy Thomas.
