Bonnie Jean [Renfro] Cavney

Bonnie Jean Caveny, departed this life on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Duncan at the age of 89.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 22, 2018, at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church, with Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Bonnie was born Monday, March 18, 1929 in Hollis, to Sam and Lottie (Doughty) Renfro. She had lived in the Rush Springs area most of her life. She married Donald Wayne Caveny on July 11, 1946 in Wichita Falls. They had 51 wonderful years before his passing on December 15, 1997. She was a hard worker that loved her garden and flower beds. She loved to cook fresh produce from her garden and cooked at the TC Coffee Shop in Rush Springs for years. She enjoyed crocheting and making lots of quilts. But most of all she loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren. Bonnie was a member of the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, Marvin, Ben, Leo, Willie, Paul Caveny, and 2 sisters, Bessie Wilson, Marie Davis.

Edna Charlene [Townsend] Cavney

Edna Charlene Caveny, 82, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Marlow.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs with Terry Beard officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Charlene was born Monday, July 7, 1930 in Arkansas, to Charles Wesley and Jocie Ellen [Sharp] Townsend. Charlene lived in the Rush Springs area all of her life and attended the Berling Schools. She married Fred Thomas Caveny on November 19, 1947. He preceded her in death in 2004. Charlene and Fred owned and operated the Rush Springs Hardware store for several years. She enjoyed listening to Charles Stanley, sewing and cooking for her family. Charlene was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs.

Charlene was also preceded in death by her parents.
