Alice "Maye" [White] Bentley

Alice "Maye" [White] Bentley was born November 12, 1921, to Dave and Bobbie [Holt[ White, and passed away September 15, 2003, in Clinton, Oklahoma, at the age of 81 years.

Maye was raised in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, and lived there all her life except the last 17 months of her life, where she lived in Clinton, Oklahoma, at the United Methodist Health Care Center.

She attended school at Elm Flat grade school and graduated from Rush Springs High School.

Maye married William Lloyd Bentley on November 23, 1941.

Her parents preceded her in death, as well as her husband, William Lloyd Bentley, on June 4, 1968, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by 3 sons: Glen Roy Bentley of Rush Springs, OK, Wayne Lloyd Bentley and wife, Carol of Clinton, OK, Jimmy Allen Bentley and wife, Ann of Hobart, OK; 3 grandchildren: Kalera Ray Lynn Weyrick and husband, Jake, James Lloyd "J. L." Bentley and wife, Kristy and Amber J. Bentley; 2 great grandchildren: Zora and Daz K. Weyrick; 1 brother: Sam White; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2003, at 2:30 p.m. at the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs, OK.

Interment will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home of Lone Wolf, Oklahoma.

Family visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2003, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Southern Baptist Church, Rush Springs, OK.

R. C. Bentley

Memorial service for R C Bentley, 64, was held at the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, with the Rev Elmer Whitehead officiating.

Mr Bentley was born November 14, 1935, the son of Henry and Jewel Bentley.

He was preceded in death by both his parents; one son, Thomas Walker Bentley; and one grandson, Chance Van Buskirk.

Survivors include three sons, Henry James and his wife Kandy of Chickasha, Ronie Gene of Ninnikah and Raymond Land and his wife Kim of Houma, LA; two daughters, Carol Lester and her husband Jim and Connie Smith and her husband Rodney of Rush Springs, 3 brothers, Dale of Grapevine, TX, Douglas of El Paso TX, and Tom of Dallas, TX; four sisters, Patsy Gay Romon of Fort Worth, TX, Janice Wilson of Rhome, TX, Shiela Gregory of Fort Worth, TX and Rose Van Meter of Arlington TX; 10 grandchildren and on great grandchild.
