Funeral service for Marva Jo Pinkston, age 48, of Chickasha, wil be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2004, in the Ninnekah Baptist Church.
Marva Jo Pinkston was born March 8, 1955, in Wichita, Kansas. She was the daughter of Robert L. and Imogene [Spencer] Carpenter.
She died Saturday, February 21, 2004, in Chickasha.
Marva Jo was raised in Booker, Texas. She graduated from Booker High School in 1974. She was a cheerleader, played basketball, and ran track.
She married Tim Pinkston June 1. 1974, in Booker.
She moved to Chickasha in 1978.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Lynn Pinkston, in 1995.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Pinkston, of Chickasha, one daughter, Kimberly Lynn, of Chickasha; one grandson, Devin Pinkston, of Chickasha; her parents, Robert and Imogene Carpenter of Booker, Texas; one sister, Bobbie Russell and her husband Rick, of Booker, Texas; one sister-in-law, Brenda Green and her husband Si, of Panama City, Florida; and five nephews.
Interment will be in the Ninnekah Cemetery, Ninnekah, Oklahoma, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
