William Edward "Ed" Ucker
August 28, 1864 ~ January 4, 1947


Funeral services for W. E. Ucker, 82, of Chickasha, who is a retired grocer and died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs Barbara E. [Ucker] Burson, 1628 NW 35, Oklahoma City, due to a heart attack, were held Monday at the Holy Name Catholic Church here.

Mr Ucker was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus.

He had lived in Chickasha since 1920, moving there from Fayetteville, Ark. He was a native of Ohio.

Survivors include the widow, and three daughters, Mrs Barbara E. [Ucker] Burson, Mrs Ann Regina [Ucker] Decker of Chickasha, and Mrs B. J. Hebinck of Enid, and five grandchildren.

Frank Richard Ucker
July 21, 1902 ~ April 13, 1939


Frank Ucker Funeral Held

Funeral Mass for Frank Richard Ucker, 36, was said by Father A. Pierets at 8 o'clock Saturday morning at the Holy Name Catholic Church. Interment was in the Holy Name Cemetery.

Mrs Clem Heidlage sang "Communion Hymn," "I Need The Heart Of Jesus," and How Sweet the Name of Jesus Sounds," accompanied at the organ by Mrs Henry Ross.

Mr Ucker died about 8:30 o'clock Thursday night at a local hospital, following an illness of four months.

He was born July 31, 1902, at Fayetteville, Ark, and in 1920 moved to Chickasha with his parents.

He was educated at the Fayetteville Catholic School and the Little Roch College, Little Rock, Ark.

On April 20, 1935, he was married to Doris Gowdey.

For the past three years Mr Ucker had been employed with the Oklahom Tire & Supply Co. He had been employed as a radio sales and service man for a number of years.

Mr Ucker was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Rotary Club and the Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving members of the family include his wife, parents, Mr and Mrs W. E. Ucker, of Chickasha; and three sisters, Mrs M. E. Burson of Woodward; Mrs Leo Decker of Chickasha and Mrs B. J. Hebinck, Jr of Oklahoma City.
