June 22, 1930 ~ January 13, 2013


Woodward, Okla. - Funeral service for June Joy Tunder, 82, of Tuttle, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the Sowers Memorial Chapel, Tuttle.

June Joy Tunder was born June 22, 1930 in Tecumseh,Oklahoma the daughter of J.D. and LeVada [Thompson] Bomar. She died January 13, 2013 in Oklahoma City.

June graduated from McComb High School.

She worked as a switch board operator for A.T. & T in California.

She and Roger Tunder were married November 18, 1953 in Tecumseh. For the past 6 years they lived in Tuttle.

June was preceded in death by: Parents,1 brother: Linn Bomar.

Survivors include: Husband: Roger Tunder of the home in Tuttle, 2 daughters: Juneva Morton and husband Dr. L.J. Morton of Borger, TX, Rogena Tunder and partner Kim Charrier of Phoenix, AZ, 1 son: Steve Tunder and wife Katie of Tuttle, Grandchildren: Kayla Phoenix and Remington Tunder.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
