August 16, 1905 ~ June 2, 1995


Graveside services for Fred Lee Richardson, 89, of Amber will be held at 1:30 pm Monday June 5 in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle.

Richardson was born August 16, 1905 in Stonewall, OK to Oscar N. and Rose [Owens] Richardson and died Friday in Chickasha.

Richardson was a farmer-rancher in the Amber area for 20 years.

He married Mattie Elizabeth Moore April 27, 1933 in Texas. She preceded him in death January 25, 1982. He was also preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

He was survived by three sons; Frank Richardson, of Blanchard, Freddie Richardson of Seminole and Wilbur Richardson of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two daughters, Ruth Rector of Amber, JoAnn Davidson of St. Paul, Oregon; three sisters, Mary Thomas, Pixley, California, Addie Hisaw, Grants Pass, Oregon, Bonnie Mason, Lodi, California; one brother, Clarence Richardson of Reding, California, 23 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and nieces and nephews.

Services will be under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Mattie Elizabeth [Moore] Richardson


Funeral for Mrs. Mattie Elizabeth Richardson, 64, Route 1, Amber, will be at 10:30 am Wednesday, January 27, 1982, in Sowers Memorial Chapel, Sevier Tuttle Funeral Home, Tuttle, with Rev. Norman Davis of Full Gospel Church, Binger, officiating.

Mrs. Richardson was born March 16, 1917, in McComb, Miss. She died late Monday night, January 25, 1982, in Grady Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

She married Fred Lee Richardson, April 27, 1933, in Texas. They had lived in the Amber community for the past 11 years, moving there from Tuttle.

Mrs. Richardson was a member of Bethel Full Gospel Church, Tuttle.

Survivors include her husband, Fred, of the home; three sons, Frankie J. Richardson of Tuttle, Freddie Louis Richardson of Blanchard, and Wilbur Gene Richardson of Honeygrove, Texas; three daughters, Lois Murphy of Talula, La., Johnnie Ruth Rector of Amber, and Jo Ann Davison, St. Paul, Ore.; two brothers, E. H. Moore of Pique, Ohio., and Tommy Moore of Hope, Ark.; four sisters, Harlin of Lake Providence, La., Vera Mohon of Valdahia, La., Clara Fulton of Blevins, Ark., and Bobby Moffett of Stamps, Ark.; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle.
