David Lyle North
May 9, 1950 ~ August 8, 2005


David Lyle North was born in Saginaw, Mich. on May 9, 1950 to Mary Catherine and Vernon Lyle North.

David graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in 1968 in Saginaw, Mich. He served in the Army from November 1969 to Nov. 1971 and was in the Reserves from 1972 to 1979.

He married Shelia Faye Reich on January 22, 1971 in Cascade, Maryland. He was employed with Dayton Tire for 30 years.

He was a member of the Tuttle Church of Nazarene and has lived in Bridge Creek for 20 years and in Tuttle for the last six years. He enjoyed golf, fish, basketball, history and westerns.

He passed away August 8, 2005 at 55 years of age.

He was preceded in death by his father Vernon, two brothers Robert North and Larry North.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Faye North; daughter Rebecca Lynn Coyne and husband Jeff of Blanchard; son David Wayne North and wife Kristi of Newcastle; 4 granddaughters Alexandra and Madelyn North, Emily and Abigail Coyne; mother Mary North of Saginaw, Mich.; sister Lynn Hunter and husband Val of Saginaw, MIch.; four brothers Gary North and wife Sue of St. Charles, Mich., Jerry North and wife Sherri of Defiance, Ohio, Dale North and wife Kim of Trufant, Mich., Mark North and wife Jeanine of Saginaw, Mich.; sister-in-law Kathleen North of Saginaw, Mich.; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; numerous other relatives and friends.

Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2005 at the Snow Hill Baptist Church in Tuttle. Rev. Todd Littleton and Rev. Glen Pack will officiate with interment held in the Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
