Betty Jo [Mitchell] Lay
March 6, 1929 ~ December 27, 2006

Funeral services for Betty Jo Lay, 77, of Tuttle, Oklahoma were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the Sowers Memorial Chapel, Tuttle.

Betty Jo Lay was born March 6, 1929 in Walters, Oklahoma the daughter of Jess and Nellie [Bullard] Mitchell and died December 27, 2006 at her home in Tuttle.

Mrs. Lay lived in Tuttle for almost 50 years.

She was preceded in death by: Her husband: Carl E. Lay in 1989; three sisters; one brother; parents.

Survivors include: Two sons and their wives: Larry Eugene and Kathy Lay of Jacksonville, Florida, Michael Charles and Debra Lay of Tuttle, Oklahoma; One daughter and her husband: Patricia and Grady White of Bridgecreek, Oklahoma; One sister: Judy Schlotter; One brother: Sam Mitchell; 11 Grandchildren; 16 Great grandchildren.

Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
