Russella Kay [Arganbright] Franklin
April 6, 1950 ~ August 24, 2006


Funeral service for Russella Kay Franklin, 56, of Tuttle, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Tuttle First Baptist Church.

Russella Kay Franklin was born April 6, 1950 in Anadarko, Oklahoma the daughter of Jim and Mary Lee [Adams] Arganbright and died August 24, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Kay graduated from Chickasha High School in 1968. She lived in Tuttle since 1970 and worked at Star Pharmacy of Tuttle from 1970 ~ 2005. Kay was a licensed pharmacy tech and clerk.

She and Joe Franklin were married January 27, 1969 in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Kay was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuttle.

She was preceded in death by: her mother: Mary Lee Arganbright.

Survivors include: husband: Joe Franklin of the home; three sons: Ricky Franklin and wife Tami of Tuttle; Jeff Franklin and wife Shelley of Oklahoma City; Michael Franklin of Minneapolis, Minnesota; father and beloved stepmother: Jim and Ann Arganbright of Tuttle; two sisters: Kristie Scears of Midwest City; Karol Andrew of Tulsa; one brother: Dr. Kim Arganbright of Weatherford; four grandchildren: Kaylee Franklin, Gavin Franklin, Chloe Franklin and Caleb Franklin.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Donations may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research or Vanderbuilt University, Familial Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Study, Cherly Markin 1~888~898~1550.
