January 28, 1958 ~ May 5, 2005


Graveside services for Michael Lester Doubleday, 47, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma were held at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 9, 2005 at the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, OK.

Michael Lester Doubleday was born January 28, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of Otis and Oneta [Aynes] Doubleday. He passed away at his home on Thursday, May 5, 2005.

Michael grew up in Edmond and graduated from Edmond High School.

He had worked as a trim carpenter with his father for several years and then worked for FDIC as a computer tech and manager. He had also been employed with CACI as contract manager for DISA at Tinker Field.

Michael was a big OU fan and he enjoyed woodworking and movies. He also liked to study military history.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Eva Aynes.

Survivors include: his parents: Otis and Oneta Doubleday of Edmond, OK; his brother: Dennis Doubleday; his sister-in-law: Mary Doubleday; a niece: Julia Doubleday; and a nephew: Kevin Doubleday all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Tuttle.
