Donald Carroll Parham
January 13, 1936 ~ January 8, 2012


Funeral service for Donald Carroll Parham, 75, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Donald Carroll Parham was born Jan. 13, 1936 in Anadarko, the son of Grissom Henry and Lillie Lou [Bradley] Parham. He died Jan. 8, 2012 in Chickasha.

Donald moved to Ninnekah in 1954 and then to Chickasha in 1955. He and Barbara Ann Tryon were married April 26, 1955 in Anadarko.

Donald worked for John Paschal Tile, Marion Perry, and Joe Peck. He then started his own company, Parham Ceramic Tile, Inc., in 1965. He retired in 1996 due to health issues.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: J.B. Parham, a sister: Louella Davidson and an infant brother: Charles Parham

Survivors include: Wife: Barbara Parham of the home; Children: Gary Don Parham and Terri of Columbia, MO, Grissom Craig Parham and Jeanette of Amber; Grandchildren: Chelsey Dawn Parham of Chickasha, Dylan Clarence Parham of Columbia, MO, Taylor Nicole Parham of Amber, Zoe Cecelia Parham of Columbia, MO, Gregory Grissom Parham of Amber, Dustyn Lister of Edmond and Tyler Lister of Amber; two sisters: Rosetta Landrith of Mustang, Ruby Robinson of Chickasha; and a brother: Doyle Parham of Chickasha.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Howard Doyle Parham
June 12, 1938 ~ March 19, 2014


Funeral services for Howard Doyle Parham, of Chickasha, will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Parkview Christian Church, Chickasha.

Howard Doyle Parham was born in Anadarko, on June 12 1938 to Grissom and Lillie (Bradley) Parham. He passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 75.

Doyle was a lifelong resident of the Chickasha and Grady County area. He worked for Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent for 37 years, retiring in 1997. He served in the U.S. Air Force and the Oklahoma National Guard.

He is preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 1990, a daughter, Carol Ann, 3 brothers: Charles, Jay and Don and a sister, Lou.

Doyle is survived by two daughters: Brenda Lankister, of Texas and Robyn Penney and her husband, John, of Norman; a son, Michael Parham and his wife, Marcqui, of Chickasha; eight grandchildren: Kyley, Korbyn, Krystian, Ian, Mykayla, Bradley, Kahlie and Alivia; two sisters: Ruby Robinson, of Chickasha and Rosetta Landrith, of Mustang; a sister-in-law, Barbara Parham, of Chickasha; many nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Barbara Ann [Tryon] Parham
February 24, 1940 ~ April 30, 2020


Barbara Ann Parham, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the age of 80. She was born February 24, 1940 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Clarence and Edna May [Miller] Tryon.

Barbara married Donald Parham on April 26, 1955 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She had lived in Oklahoma City and Chickasha all her life. She and Donald moved to Chickasha in 1971 from Bethany, OK. She started raising cattle and hogs and chickens and horses she hated.

In 1980, she and her husband started Parham Ceramic Tile in Chickasha and later in 1985 she added ceramics and art work to the business. She retired in 1996. She enjoyed her grandchildren and she focused on family and reunions. She was the historian for the family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Parham, and her brothers and sisters.

Barbara is survived by her sons: Gary Parham and his wife, Terri; and Craig Parham and his wife, Jeanette; Grandchildren: Chelsey Dawn Parham, Dylan Clarence Parham, Taylor Nicole Parham, Zoe Cecelia Parham, Gregory Grissom Parham, Dustyn Lister and Tyler Lister; Great grandchildren: Josiah Cordova, Jonah Cordova, Mila Lister, Masyn Lister, Emery Bradford; and Buck Scrudder; And many cousins, nieces and nephews.
