Ed Jansson of the Central Baptist Church, Lawton officiating. She was born May 14, 1905 in Ardmore and died Friday, August 10, 1984 at the home. Mrs. Jones spent her early life in the Ardmore area. She was a long time resident of Grady County before moving to Lawton in February, 1980. She married March W. Jones in 1935 in McAlester. He preceded her in death on Nov 7, 1979. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Jones of Sacramento, Calif.; one daughter, Loveta M. Price of Lawton; one brother, Roy Kelly of Verden; one sister Eva Thompson of Lawton; two grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |

Jones was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Rev. George W. Graham of Elmore City and Rev. Vera B. Jones of Chickasha officiated. Music was by Mrs. James Elston, soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Frieda Young, organist. Active pallbearers were John Jones, Wylie Jones, Bryan Jones, Ernest Jones, Jim Adams and Edgar Huffman. Honorary pallbearers were Bill True, Loyce Roller, Roy Jay, Bill Wenzel, Henry Roller and Tom Gardner. Interment was in Fairlawn Cemetery. |

Johnny Leon Jones was born July 11, 1943, in Marlow, Oklahoma, the son of Vaughn Clyde and Ilda [Hancock] Jones, and died Tuesday, November 9, 2004, in Chickasha. Johnny lived in Chickasha most of his life. He worked for the railroad. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Sharon Frizell and Linda Laurens. Survivors include three daughters, Christine Jones, Cristy Collins, and Shelly Jones; one son, John Jones; three brothers, Vaughn Robert Jones, David Jones, Danny Jones; three sisters, Geneva Bordwine, Alice Wendling, Donna Black; five grandchildren; special friends, Caroline Bray, Barbara Bozarth, and John McCoy; and a host of other friends. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |

Teri Leann [Horry] Jones was born the daughter of Ruby Jean Wallace and Weldon Franklin Horry on June 24, 1963 in Chickasha and passed away Sunday, October 30, 2005. She was raised in the Chickasha, Amber and Pocasset areas. Teri attended Chickasha High School, El Reno Junior College and USAO. She was a licensed cosmetologist. She married Keith M. Jones on December 5, 1980 in Chickasha. They had two beautiful children, Kim and Larry, whom she loved with all of her heart. Teri was preceded in death by: Parents, one brother: Timothy Horry; grandmothers: Elizabeth Horry and Vesta Morgan; uncle: Bucky Horry. Survivors include: husband: Keith M. Jones, one daughter, Kimberly Jones, one son: Larry Jones all of the home; one grandson: Dominick Moore; one brother and his wife: Kelly and Tabitha Horry; one sister and her husband: Katrina and Mark Allison, stepmother: Carrie, all of Florida; stepmother: Brenda Waddell of Chickasha; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Allen and Cleta Jones of Pocasset; two sisters-in-law and husbands: Debra and Russell Cocheran of Amber; Ikie and Glen Grissam of Pocasset; one brother-in-law and his wife: Terry and Lauri Jones of Amber; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends including Shanna Prince and her daughters, Dawn, McKensie and Jasmine, whom she thought of as her own. And a special aunt and uncle, Kathy and Jim McMahan and family. She will be missed very dearly and thought of every day. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
