October 6, 1953 ~ February 1, 2005


Graveside memorial services for Vickie Jean Fowler, 51, of Wichita, Kansas, formerly of Chickasha, will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Sister Alice Wendling officiating.

Vickie Jean Fowler was born October 6, 1953 in Duncan, Oklahoma, the daughter of Billy Don Brown and Phyllis Jeanette Dove Brown. She died February 1, 2005 in Wichita.

Vickie moved to California as a young girl where she attended public schools. She later returned to the Duncan area where she attended and graduated from Red River VoTech with a degree in Nursing. She married Dwight Fowler on Dec. 31, 1985 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Vickie had been employed with Eventide Nursing Home, now Grace Living Center in Chickasha and OMH in Oklahoma City and in the Marlow Manor in Marlow, Oklahoma.

She was presently employed with Catholic Care Center in Wichita, Kansas, at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Bruce Brown.

Survivors include her husband, Dwight, of the home in Wichita; five daughters, Jamie Rodriguez, Jacqueline Brown, Melissa Albin, all of Wichita, Kansas, Lorrie Fowler of August, Georgia, Rebecca Fowler of White City, Kahsas; two sons, Harland Fowler, Jr. and James Fowler, both of Wichita; two sisters, Katherine Smith, of Wichita, Suzette Fogle, of Ninnekah; one brother, Barry Cake of Visalia, California; 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Alex Casey Fowler
March 15, 1985 ~ August 4, 2009


Funeral services for Alex Casey Fowler, 24, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2009, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Alex Casey Fowler was born March 15, 1985, the son of Derry James and Rebecca [Stark] Fowler.

He died August 4, 2009, in Oklahoma City.

Alex attended Am-Po High School where he graduated in 2006.

He is survived by his parents, Derry and Rebecca Fowler, of the home; sister, Brandy Westerguard, of Iowa; brother and sister-in-law: Eddie and Shawna Fowler, of Chickasha; one niece, Alexis; three nephews: Sef, Nikki, and Adrian, all of Chickasha; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alex was loved by everyone who met him and he will be greatly missed. We love you our "Little Man".

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
