William Patrick "Bill" Dill
February 18, 1916 ~ July 26, 2010


Memorial service for William Patrick "Bill" Dill, age 94, of Chickasha, will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 30, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church.

The Rev. Barbara Hunt will officiate.

Bill was born the son of Patrick Joseph Dill and Lucille Godfrey Dill on Feb. 18, 1916, in St. Louis, Mo. He died July 26, 2010 in Chickasha.

Bill moved to California as a teenager and eventually began working in the shipyards during World War II. While in California, he met and married Lois Otey on April 2, 1941.

After several years, they moved to Chickasha where he began operating a service station. He retired in 1978. Bill was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include: Wife: Lois Dill, other relatives and friends.

Interment will take place in the Fairlawn Cemetery prior to the service. Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at the following address: Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.

Funeral service for Lois Otey Dill, age 97 of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2010, in the First Presbyterian Church.

Lois was born the daughter of Thomas Elder Otey and Gertrude White Otey on June 27, 1913, in Chickasha. She died on August 9, 2010, in Chickasha.

Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

Lois graduated from Verden High School. She moved to California where she met William Patrick "Bill" Dill. They were married on April 2, 1941 and lived in California for several years. Lois and Bill then moved back to Chickasha. In 1950, Bill began operating a service station and she helped with the bookkeeping.

Lois was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Gertrude Otey; three sisters; four brothers; husband, Bill.

Survivors include: Many Relatives and Friends.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery prior to the funeral service.

Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital at the following address: Memorial and Honor Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
