Lottie Fay [Lister] Dickenson
February 24, 1968 ~ April 7, 2009


Melissa C. Dinwiddie, 41, was born February 24, 1968, in Lawton, Oklahoma, and passed from this life on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 in Anadarko, Oklahoma.

Melissa grew up in Chickasha, and graduated from Chickasha High School.

She attended Calvary Baptist Church.

She lived in Gracemont for 6 years before moving to Anadarko 2 years ago.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Eula Murrell Dinwiddie, who adopted Melissa when she was an infant

She is survived by 3 aunts, Tommie Dinwiddie and Katherine Johnson, both of Chickasha, and Pearl Staggs and husband Johnny of Norman; her caretakers and foster parents Debbie and Ricky Lampkin of Anadarko, and Melissa's "Brudder", Mike Cole and wife Leslie of Anadarko; also by several cousins, and loving friends, including Jean and Bill Fowler and Verdana Toyekoyah, all of Anadarko.

Graveside funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, at Fairlawn Cemetery, north of Chickasha, under the direction of Steverson Funeral Home, Anadarko.

Viewing at the funeral home will be until 5 p.m. Thursday, and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday.
