June 7, 1933 ~ March 24, 2006


Graveside service for Bill J. Daniels, age 72 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Tom Bickford will officiate.

Bill J. Daniels was born the son of Leo Daniels and Minnie Lavata Austin Daniels on June 7, 1933 in Chickasha. He died on March 24, 2006 at his home in Chickasha.

Bill lived in Chickasha all of his life. He married Mary E. Daniels on January 21, 1955, in Anadarko. Bill worked as a farmer and heavy equipment operator. He later became a welder and worked at horse trailer manufacturing businesses until his retirement. Bill was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons, Justin Winters and Andrew French.

Survivors include: wife: Mary Daniels of Chickasha; daughter: Fran Quetone of Chickasha; son: Ricky Daniels of Chickasha; daughter: Colleen Smallwood of Spokane, Washington; daughter: Donna Koelling of Milburne; son: Billy Daniels of Chickasha; son: Barry Daniels of Chickasha; daughter: Rhonda Browne of Lancaster, California; son: Monty Daniels of Chickasha; sister: Francill Wilson of Wichita, Kansas; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews.

Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

Mary Ellen [Timmons] Daniels
August 16, 1940 ~ November 12, 2012


Graveside service for Mary Ellen Daniels, age 72 of Chickasha, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2012 in the Fairlawn Cemetery.

Mary Ellen was born the daughter of Fred Raymond Timmons and Teresa Melton Towe Timmons on August 16, 1940 in Chickasha. She died on November 12, 2012 in Oklahoma City.

Mary grew up in Chickasha where she lived all of her life.

She married Bill Daniels in January of 1954 and they established their home in Chickasha. She worked most of her life as a nurses aide taking care of people. The most important focus of her life was raising her eight children and caring for her husband. She also dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In recent years, she also cared for three of her nieces. In her spare time she loved to crochet. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Teresa Timmons; husband, Bill Daniels; three brothers, Tommy and Karl Timmons, and infant brother, Russell Timmons; grandson, Justin Winters; great-grandchild, Andrew French.

Survivors include eight children and their spouses: Fran and Phillip, Ricky, Colleen, Donna and Dale, Bill and Sheila, Barry, Rhonda and Jeff, Monty and Beverly; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters: Linda, Flora and Barbara.

Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
