Madona M. [Massey] Crouch
November 26, 1937 ~ May 27, 2009


Services to celebrate the life of Madona M. Crouch, 71, of Durant and formerly of Pauls Valley and Chickasha who passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Four Seasons Nursing Center in Durant will be held Saturday, May 30th, 10:00 AM at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with a 3:30 PM graveside service at Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, OK. Andy Burns and Jim Sheerer will officiate.

Madona was born November 26, 1937 in Tabler, Oklahoma to James Tillmon and Palma [McMasters] Massey.

After graduation from high school, she attended college at OCLA at Chickasha.

She married David L. Crouch on April 4, 1956 in Chickasha and they resided there with their family until 1970 when they moved to Bartesville. They moved to Pauls Valley in July 1972 then settled in Durant in 1981.

She retired as Branch Office Administrator for a Edward Jones office in Durant.

She was a former member of Chapter DJ of PEO, member of Texoma Sams RV Chapter and dedicated member of Northwest Church of Christ in Durant.

She enjoyed crocheting, jewelry making and traveling in the RV.

Madona will be greatly missed by all who knew and dearly loved her.

Madona was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, David L. Crouch of the home; daughters, Dana L. Parrish and husband Keith of Lawton, OK and Gina B. Cherry and husband Bill of Stigler, OK; sister, Yvonne Green and husband Victor of Perry, OK; brothers, James (Jim) E. Massey and wife Karen of Farmington, NM and Lendell R. Massey and wife Evelyn of Stillwater, OK; grandsons, Noah D. Smith and wife Beth and Logan R. Smith both of Wynnewood, OK; granddaughters, Amy L. Parrish and Allison M. Parrish both of Lawton, OK; step grandchildren, LeAnn Cherry Stockton and husband Jason of McAlester, OK and B.J. Cherry of Greenwood, AR; step greatgrandchildren, Maegan and Tyler Cherry and Laramie Stockton; numerous other relatives and a host of dear and loved friends. Casket Bearers will be Paul Mauk, E.F. Hawkins, Charlie Davis, Lon K. Dillard, Jake Edwards and David Mize.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Tipton Children's Home P.O. Box 370 Tipton, OK 73570-0370 or Petty John Christian Camp P.O. Box 440 Madill, OK 73446.
