Alta Jean [Ogle] Corley
December 24, 1933 ~ February 18, 2019


Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Sevier Funeral Home Chapel, Chickasha, OK. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Alta Jean Corley, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019 at her home in Blanchard at the age of 85. Jean was born December 24, 1933 in Tabler, Oklahoma to Raymond and Ruth [Butler] Ogle.

She married Vernon Leroy Corley on August 2, 1952 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She and Vernon lived many years in Denver, Colorado and since their retirement they have lived in Blanchard.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon on May 7, 2014; and a son, Bruce Corley in 1980.

Jean is survived by her son, Mike Corley and his wife, Debbie; Grandchildren: Nicole Corley and Clinton Corley; Sister, June Ricks; And nephews: Stephen Ricks and his wife, Linda; And Mel Ricks, Jr and his wife, Cheryl.
