Beatrice J. [Hill] Corcoran
August 1, 1913 ~ October 26, 2003


Funeral service for Beatrice J. Corcoran, age 90, formerly of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2003, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. Curtis Newton will officiate.

Beatrice was born the daughter of Charles Huntley Hill and Abbie Rogers McGee Hill on August 1, 1913, in Ravenna, Texas. She died October 26, 2003, in Oklahoma City.

Beatrice and her family moved to Oklahoma in 1925. In 1931, she married Guy Luna who preceded her in death in 1964.

In 1979, she married Bon Corcoran.

He preceded her in death in 1991. Beatrice lived in the Chickasha area many years before moving to Lawton. Due to failing health, she moved to Oklahoma City in July of 2000, to be near her niece. For twenty-three years, Beatrice worked in retail sales for J. C. Penney's while living in Lawton, Chickasha and Guthrie. Beatrice was a charter member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Lawton.

She was preceded in death by per parents, three brothers, Guffrey, Desmond, and Grayden Hill, two sisters, Loraine Hill Hall and Vera Hill Baker.

Survivors include: numerous nieces and nephews, including caregiver Melba Brooks of Oklahoma City; numerous great nieces and great nephews; special friends: Pete and Jan Heaton of Brookshire, Texas, and the Shorter families of Lawton.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
