April 26, 1948 ~ August 16, 2010


Graveside services for Linda Ruth Cook, 62, of Chickasha, will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2010, in the Fairlawn Cemetery with Sister Alice Wendling officiating and Bill Holly assisting.

Linda Ruth Cook was born April 26, 1948, in Ada, Oklahoma. She died Monday, August 16, 2010, in Chickasha.

Linda grew up in Ada, Oklahoma where she attended Ada Public Schools. Linda came to Chickasha during the 1960's with her family. Linda married Donnie C. Haile, in Anadarko, in 1966 and to this union, her four children were born. She had been employed as a housekeeper at USAO for seven years. She had been a homemaker most of her life rearing her children.

Linda later married Larry Cook on November 4, 1997. She enjoyed spending time camping at the lake and garage selling.

Linda was preceded in death by both parents. Survivors include her husband Larry Cook, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Eldon and Patricia Haile, Donnie Jr. and Vickie Haile all of Chickasha; two daughters, Trenda Haile, of Chickasha and Betty "Lou" Parham, of Amber; one brother, Blakie, of Ada, Oklahoma; three step-daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Ernie Christfield of Amber; Delynda Cook of Verden, Laurie Cook of Ohio; one step-son, Larry Cook of Chickasha and sixteen grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
