Funeral services for Benny S. Cook, 51, of Chickasha, Okla., will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 10, 2004, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Benny S. Cook was born January 17, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Okla., and died on Thursday, May 6, 2004, at his home in Chickasha.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Benny S. Cook

Benny S. Cook was born January 17, 1953, in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Benny S. Cook, Sr. and Shirley Mae [Dill] Cook. He died May 6, 2004, in his home in Chickasha.

Benny served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War from 1971 to 1973.

Benny had worked several years as an OTR Truck Driver for the Celadon Trucking Company.

He married Yolanda Faye Pinkston on February 4, 1993, in Gainesville, Texas, and they made their home in Chickasha.

He was a member of The Rock Assembly of God Church in Oklahoma City.

Benny was preceded in death by his father and his grandmother, Sally Dill.

Survivors include his wife, Yolanda, and their son, Matthew Star Cook, both of the home; his mother, Shirley Mae Cook, of Oklahoma City; son Matthew Thomas, of Chickasha; six daughters, Shirley J. Hayes, and Melissa and husband Donald Skidmore, both of Chickasha, Jessica and husband Steven Yinger, of Jones, OK, Angela Davis, and Aretha and Lyndon Mincey, of Tuttle, OK; two brothers, Ronald Cook, of Del City, Cliffton Cook, of Oklahoma City; one sister, Sandra Sanford, of Moore, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, in Chickasha, under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
