Allie Cocheran
October 12, 1889 ~ December 31, 1979


Funeral for Allie Cochern, 90, 827 Dakota, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Home. Jim Sheerer, minister of Central Church of Christ, will officiate.

Mr. Cocheran was born October 12, 1889. He died Monday, December 31, 1979.

A farmer and minister all his life, he married Elva Caldwell on Feb 25, 1913 in Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife, Elva, of the home: three daughters, Esther, Alice Farley, 1828 Washington, and Francis Reynolds, Verden; a son, Russell, Route 1, Chickasha; two brothers, Hollie and Rick of Cement; and two sisters, Lula Elliott of Arkansas and Ethel Akins of Chickasha.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery.

Elva [Caldwell] Cocheran
August 19, 1895 ~ February 23, 1981


Funeral for Elva Cocheran 85, 827 Dakota Avenue, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 1981, in the Brown-Binyon Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Cocheran was born August 19, 1895, at Three Lick, Ky. She is the daughter of Arrenia [Purvis] and T.J. Caldwell. She died Monday, February 23, 1981, at Grady Memorial Hospital.

She was a housewife.

She married Allie Cocheran Feb 15, 1913, at Three Lick, Ky. Mr. Cocheran preceded her in death Dec. 31, 1979. Mrs. Cocheran was also preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister and one daughter.

She is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Hill of Scurry, Texas, Frances Reynolds of Verden, Esther Null of Duncan and Alice Farley of Chickasha; one son Russell Cocheran of Chickasha; 17 grandchildren; and 49 great grandchildren.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Binyon Funeral Home.

Elva [Caldwell] Cocheran
August 19, 1895 ~ February 23, 1981


Funeral for Elva Cocheran, 85, was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 1981, in the Brown-Binyon Funeral Chapel with Dr. Sam Evans. officiating.

Music was supplied by the Church of Christ Singers: Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Johnston, Bruce Utley, Adrian Drew and John Mosley.

Pallbearers were Leonard Otey, Dr. W.S. Vincent, Cecil Smiley, Jimmy Swafford, Bill Talbert and Carl Hall.

Interment was in Fairlawn Cemetery.

Terry Joe Cocheran
October 27, 1973 ~ February 15 1974


Funeral service for Terry Joe Cocheran, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Cocheran was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday with graveside services at Fairlawn Cemetery by Sevier Funeral Home.

He died Friday at Harker Heights, Texas. He was born Oct 27, in Duncan and was about four months old.

Survivors include his parents of Duncan; one sister Kimberly, of the home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cocheran, Route 1, Chickasha; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Madison, Verden; great grandparents Mrs. Mamie Patterson of Chickasha, Mr. and Mrs. Allie Cocheran of Cement and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sullivan of Chickasha.
