Talley Airland Burns
May 31, 1907 ~ May 25, 2001


Funeral service for Talley A. Burns, 93, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2001, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Talley A. Burns was born May 31, 1907, in Quinton, Oklahoma, the son of William David and Alice [Bradburn] Burns, and died Friday, May 25, 2001, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Mr. Burns lived in the Pocasset and Chickasha areas since 1928.

He and Nina Walton were married, and she preceded him in death in 1969.

Mr. Burns was a member of the Michigan Avenue Baptist Church.

He was also preceded in death by 12 brothers, 1 sister and 1 son, Frankie Boycott.

Survivors include: 1 son and his wife: Richard and Fritzi Burns of Chickasha, Oklahoma; 1 daughter and her husband: Oleta and Jim Walker of Chickasha, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law: Mildred Boycott of DeRidder, Louisiana; 8 g randchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
