Funeral services for Dorothy Naomi Burge, 88, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, in the First Baptist Church Chapel at Fourth Street and Colorado Avenue, Chickasha, Okla.

Dorothy Naomi Burge was born July 6, 1915, and died on Sunday, November 23, 2003.

Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Dorothy Naomi Burge, 88, will be held in the First Baptist Church Chapel, 4th and Colorado, at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2003. Reverend Billy Elkins, Trinity Baptist Church, will conduct the services.

Dorothy Naomi Burge was born in Harrison, Arkansas, July 6, 1915, and died in Ft. Worth, Texas, November 23, 2003, after a long illness.

Mrs. Burge lived in Chickasha most of her life, where her family operated two well-known 1940s and 1950s restaurants, The White Dot Cafe and Earl's Drive In.

Mrs. Burge was preceded in death by a sister, Selma Leonard, a brother, O. B. King, her parents J. C. and Maude King, and husband, John Burge.

Mrs. Burge leaves behind Kaye Boling DeHart, her daughter, Clyde (Buddy) DeHart, Jr., son-in-law: two grandchildren, a source of great pride for her, Debi Kazarian, Marty and Debbie, his wife; four great grandchildren; dear friends Evelyn and Dick Fish, who called her "Mom" and showered her with unconditional love; C. A. and Shirley Roberson, whose watchcare over her was greatly appreciated by the family. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
