June 16, 1920 ~ February 15, 2004


Graveside service for Mildred Ann Burdick, 83, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2004, at the Fairlawn Cemetery.

Mildred Ann Burdick was born June 16, 1920, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of George Washington and Lassie Elizabeth [Roberts] Tucker, and died February 15, 2004, in Chickasha.

Mrs. Burdick graduated from Friend High

She and Glenn Harley Burdick were married in 1943, and he preceded her in death April 1987.

Mrs. Burdick was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Chickasha.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Patsy Ann Howard, December 25, 1965; and one brother, Freddy Tucker, in 2003. Survivors include her niece, Jan Tucker Cagle of Huntsville, Alabama; great niece, Kimberly Philips of Birmingham, Alabama; and sister-in-law, Doris Tucker of Huntsville, Alabama.

Interment was held in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Chickasha Hospice.
