Ida Lee [Little] Burchett
March 22, 1921 ~ May 30, 2007


Graveside services for Ida Lee Burchett, 86, of Chickasha will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2007, in the Fairlawn Cemetery with David Woods officiating.

Ida Lee [Little] Burchett was born March 22, 1921, in Greenville, Texas, the daughter of Emmit and Daisy [O'Neal] Little. She died May 30, 2007, in Oklahoma City.

Ida married Roy Burchett on June 6, 1942, in San Antonio, Texas. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this month.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was a member of Parkview Christian Church and was an active member of Women for Jesus. She had a strong faith, and she carried that faith with her at all times. She enjoyed being active and serving in the church and she truly loved and enjoyed her church family.

Ida will be remembered and missed by her husband, Roy; two daughters and sons-in-law: Carolyn Burchett and Gary George, of Tucson, Arizona, and Janet and Louis Carter, of Rush Springs; grandchildren: Beth Harper, of Littleton, Colorado, Stephanie and Kurt Fisher, of Tucson, Arizona, Scott and Mayte Carter, of Stillwater, Kevin and Stacee Carter, of Rush Springs; great- grandchildren: Joshua Wheeler, Morgen Carter, Macie Carter, Ryan Lukowski, Austin George, Kamron Fisher, Kenady Fisher, and Kortney Fisher; numerous other family and friends.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
