Fred Wallace Bryant
February 16, 1924 ~ September 24, 2011

Fred Wallace Bryant, 87, of Chickasha OK, was born to Zack Bryant and Minnie Dandridge-Bryant on February 16, 1924, in Fallis OK. Shortly after his birth, the family moved to Chickasha. Fred Wallace attended Lincoln Public Schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in Chickasha. Fred Wallace faithfully served, for many years, as a Deacon at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was also a Mason and served in Widow Sons Lodge #11 of Chickasha.

Fred Wallace Bryant married Alice Ruby Watson on October 12, 1951. They had four children: Alice Faye, Julia Ann, Fred Jr., and Martin Keith.

Fred was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Alice Ruby; both parents, Zack and Minnie Bryant; grandparents, Ed and Georgia Dandridge; and two brothers.

Those left to cherish the memories are his children: Alice Faye [Joseph] McClendon, Julia Ann Terry, Fred Wallace Bryant, Jr., Martin Keith Bryant; adopted daughter Angelia Marie McKnight; brothers: Roy [Clara] Bryant and Vernon Bryant; sister Opal [Marvin] Garrett of Kansas City MO; sisters-in-law: Rose Bryant of Kansas City and Betty Toliver of California; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; Church Family; and many other relatives and friends.

Alice Ruby [Watson] Bryant
December 31, 1924 ~ January 30, 2009


Funeral services for Alice Ruby Bryant, 85, of Chickasha, OK will be held Thursday @ 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Living God [P.G.of T.] Elder Delbert Allen will be the minister officiating the service.

Alice was born December 31, 1924 in Chickasha, OK. She passed away Friday January 30, 2009 at St Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Viewing and visitation will be held on Wednesday February 4, 2009 from 10:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Brown/Christian Funeral Home Chapel.

Internment will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery. Services are under the Direction of Brown/Christian Funeral Home.
