Charles Craig "Chucky" Brown
June 2, 1967 ~ April 11, 2009


Funeral services for Charles Craig "Chucky" Brown, 41, of Chickasha, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 18, 2009 at Shepherd St [Disciples of Christ] Christian Church. Pastor Nettie J. Fisher will officiate, and Bishop Leo Johnson will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be Friday April 17th, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 p.m. at Brown/Christian Funeral Home.

Charles Craig "Chucky" Brown was born unto Charles Leonard and Catherine Brown in San Diego, CA on June 2, 1967.

Chucky was raise in Chickasha, and attended Chickasha Public Schools until the tenth grade. He later moved to live with his brother in Oklahoma City, and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1985. While at John Marshall High School, Chucky played was a member of the varsity basketball team.

After high school, Chucky served in the U.S. Army Reserves for seven years, October of 1987 to October 1994.

Charles Craig Brown united in holy matrimony to Angie Young on February 19, 1994. Unto this union one child was born, Bryson.

Survivors include two sons: Kendrick Brown of Denver, CO and Bryson Brown of Chickasha, OK; Mother, Catherine Robinson of Oklahoma City, OK; Father, Charles L. Brown of Washington D.C.; Three brother: Ron D. Robinson of Denver, CO; Jerry L. Brown (Rene') of Chesapeake, VA: Fenton J. Sherman of Oklahoma City, OK. Three sisters: Kim Torres of Oklahoma City, OK; Gwen D. Brown of Chickasha, OK; Holly T. Brown of Seattle, WA. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles of relatives and friends.

Interment will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Brown/Christian Funeral Home.
